The initiative was formally launched by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on October 25, 2026. The scheme aims to support talented students by providing access to digital educational resources and technology-based learning.
According to the official registration portal managed by the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC), eligibility is linked to academic performance in the 2026 annual examinations and enrolment in government schools.
