Traffic accident leaves 6 dead near Killa Saifullah

A deadly traffic accident 6 lives in Balochistan’s Killa Saifullah district. A car collided with a truck in the Garang area of Killa Saifullah district, Levies sources said. The car was on its way to Islamabad via Zhob when collided with a truck coming from the opposite side.

The driver fled from the spot

The truck driver fled from the spot. Levies force shifted the dead bodies to the district headquarters hospital. A large number of people reached the hospital. “We are investigating into the traffic accident”, levies sources said. He however said no arrest made after the traffic accident. A car carrying six people completely damaged during the deadly accident, Levies told.

Traffic accidents have claimed scores of precious human lives in various parts of Balochistan. Traffic accidents have become the order of the day on roads linking Quetta with Karachi, Islamabad, Jacobabad, and Chaman.

Reckless driving, poor road conditions major cause of accidents 

Reckless driving, poor road conditions, and over-speeding remained a major cause of increased traffic accidents on highways of Balochistan. Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan has announced through his Twitter account that dualization work at the Quetta-Karachi highway would be started soon. The dualization of the Quetta-Karachi highway remains one of the longstanding demands of the people of Balochistan.
