Two cases of Corona Virus have been confirmed in Pakistan’s largest city of Karachi on Wednesday. Dr. Zafar Mirza, the adviser to the Prime Minister on health confirmed that two persons have been tested positive with the deadly Corona Virus in the country. He said one patient belongs to Sindh and the other belongs to what he calls federal, giving no other details about the location of the patient.

“Currently 15 patients are under investigation”, he said the patients were being investigated regarding corona virus. He said earlier 100 suspected patients were tests and their tests came negative. Dr. Mriza mentioned that all out efforts were being made to tackle the disease, which has claimed  precious human lives worldwide.

According to details, the first positive case of deadly Corona Virus has been reported from Pakistan’s largest city of Karachi on Wednesday evening. Sindh health department has confirmed that 22 year old patient had a travel history from Iran to Karachi. The patient had traveled via air  from Iran to Karachi after the closure of border at Pak-Iran border Taftan.

The patient and his family has been placed in quarantine and the health department Sindh is examining the all passengers. Health department Sindh  sources said the patient has been kept in quarantine at Aga Khan hospital Karachi.
