“Opposition should not drag Balochistan in island case”: Jam Kamal

Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan here on Friday cautioned the opposition political parties not to unnecessarily drag Balochistan in the island case. In a tweet, the Chief Minister assured, “Our one inch has not gone”.
Chief Minister’s statement has come after the Baloch nationalist parties including the Balochistan National Party (BNP) and National Party (NP) have expressed serious reservations and alleged that Islamabad is trying to get control of the islands. Dr. Malik Baloch, the Chief of NP had addressed a joint press conference along with Sindhi nationalist groups regarding the island issue a few days back in Karachi.
“Balochistan has one island, Astola and it has a national park and it cannot be taken away”, Jam Kamal mentioned. The nationalists’ parties have warned of launching a protest movement of the federal government did not address their reservations.
