Hindu Community Quetta protests against blasphemous sketches

Hindu community staged a protest demonstration against blasphemous sketches in France. Members of the Hindu community gathered outside the Quetta Press Club and staged the demonstration against blasphemous caricatures in France.
Danesh Kumar, the lawmaker from the ruling Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) and adviser to the chief minister on minority affairs led the protesters. “Blasphemous sketches also harmed the sentiments of minorities living in Pakistan”, Mr. Kumar told the protesters.
Blasphemous caricatures caused outrage across the Muslim World
The publication of blasphemous caricatures in France has caused outrage in the Muslim world. Rallies and protest demonstrations across the Muslim world are underway against France and the French President for his insulting remarks in this regard.
The protesters had carried placards and banners inscribed with slogans condemning the publication of the blasphemous sketches in France. They chanted slogans against France and the French President Macron. They also demanded the federal government to effectively take up the issue with France on a diplomatic level.

“This is an attempt to provoke the people and harm their feelings”, Danesh Kumar said. Various political parties and religious groups have been taking the protest demonstrations in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan against the publication of blasphemous caricatures. The protesters have also burnt the effigy of the French President to vent their anger.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has also condemned the publication of blasphemous caricatures. Addressing a ceremony arranged to observe Eid-i-Miladun Nabi, the premier said that no man in history had achieved as much as Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and urged the nation to learn from his life. “His (Holy Prophet) achievements are part of history and the more you read, you’ll realize how great he was and what we can learn from him,” the prime minister said.
