SUKKUR: At least 20 people were killed and dozens injured when a passenger train collided with a bus in Sindh’s Sukkur city on Friday night. Irfan Samo, the Senior Superintendent of Police told reporters that 20 people were killed and around two dozen injured when a passenger train collided with a bus at a railway crossing in Sukkur.

“Most  of the injured are in critical condition”, Mr. Samo said. He stated that all  the injured were rushed to nearby hospitals and emergency was imposed.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah expressed grief and sorrows over the sad incident and directed the administration to make all efforts to provide medical treatment to injured of the collision. Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardar also expressed grief and sorrows over the tragic incident.
