14 dead as a passenger coach turns turtle near Uthal Balochistan

At least 14 passengers died when a passenger coach turned turtle in Balochistan’s Uthal area on Tuesday morning. Police said the passenger coach was coming from Panjgoor to Karachi when it turned turtle.
Police said the driver lost control of the passenger coach because of over-speeding and the incident happened. 8 passengers suffered injuries during the incident. The injured include women and children, police said.
Injured shifted to hospital for medical treatment
Rescue workers were quick at the scene and shifted the injured passengers to the hospital for medical treatment. Emergency imposed in the hospital to treat the injured of the road incident.
The passenger coach completely destroyed in the incident. Road accidents have almost become the order of the day on the Quetta-Karachi highway. The highway is now famous as a ‘killer highway’ owing to increasing traffic accidents.
Traffic accidents claim precious human livesĀ
Traffic accidents on the Quetta-Karachi route have claimed scores of precious human lives in a very short span of time. People have been demanding dualization of the road to bring an end to increasing traffic accidents.
However, the officials said the dualization project of the Quetta-Karachi highway has been approved. The province, which covers almost half of the country in terms of the area has not a single kilometer motorway.
