Involvement in robbery: DSP Police Khuzdar sacked from job

The Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Khuzdar, Sardar Muhammad has been terminated from his job for his involvement in a robbery case. The sacked DSP was found involved in a robbery case in Quetta’s Jinnah town area four years back, a press release by the police central police official said.

“The DSP terminated after an internal police inquiry”, the statement mentioned. The inspector general police have given clean instructions that action would be taken against corrupt elements within the department. The department has started an internal-accountability against such officers, the statement added.

The accused officer was performing as DSP in the police telecommunication section Khuzdar district of Balochistan.

The police chief had formed an inquiry committee against the sacked officer after the robbery incident in Quetta’s Jinnah town area. The inquiry got undeniable evidence of the accused DSP Sardar Muhammad’s involvement in the robbery case, the statement concluded.
