ISLAMABAD: Federal Adviser to the Prime Minister on health, Dr. Zafar Mirza has confirmed that cases of COVID-19 have risen to 28 across the country. Most of the cases have been confirmed in Sindh province.
Addressing a press conference on Friday in the federal capital, Dr. Zafar Mirza said allĀ precautionary measures were being adopted by the government to halt the spread of the COVID-19 in the country.
Mr. Mirza said most of the people tested positive for the novel corona virus have been to Iran and other virus countries in the world.
The Balochistan government in a late night notification imposed ban gatherings of ten or more than ten people, sit-in, public meetings, processions, valimas, wedding ceremonies and functions to halt the spread of the deadly virus.
The notification issued by the additional chief secretary home and tribal affairs has directed the law enforcers to take action in the case of any violation.
