The number of people tested positive for the deadly novel corona virus has risen to 142000 people globally with most of the cases from mainland China. The virus has caused the deaths of more than 5300 people worldwide, the data is as per the statistics of World Health Organization (WHO). The WHO had declared the novel corona virus as a pandemic globally.
The WHO has also mentioned that hitherto 129 countries and territories have been affected the virus, which continues to spread fast across the globe. China remains the hardest country by the virus with over 81000 cases. However, Europe’s Italy stands second with 17000 confirmed cases and Iran with 11000 confirmed cases of novel corona virus.
