DC Zhob injured, motorcyclist died in a road accident

Deputy Commissioner Zhob, Shehak Baloch sustained injuries and a motorcyclist died in a road accident near the Badanzai area on Tuesday. Levies sources said the DC Zhob was on his way to Zhob from Quetta when his vehicle collided with a motorcycle.

The motorcyclist died on the spot after the accident. However, Levies rushed the injured DZ Zhob to Quetta for medical treatment. Driver and gunman of the DC also sustained minor injuries in the accident.

Levies personnel reached the spot as investigation into the incident went underway. The motorcyclist was a local tribesman living in the nearby village.

Traffic accidents claim precious human lives 

Traffic accidents on the Quetta-Karachi route have claimed scores of precious human lives in a very short span of time. People have been demanding dualization of the road to bring an end to increasing traffic accidents.

However, the officials said the dualization project of the Quetta-Karachi highway has been approved. The province, which covers almost half of the country in terms of the area has not a single kilometer motorway.
