Dr. Khair Muhammad Kakar appointed as MD Pakistan Oilseed Board

The Federal Government has appointed Dr. Khair Muhammad Kakar as the Managing Director (MD) Pakistan Oilseed Board in grade-21. Dr. Kakar has been appointed on one year’s contract, said in a notification issued by the Establishment Division. The contract is extendable, the notification mentioned.
Dr. Kakar has done a Ph.D. in agriculture and a post-doctorate in agronomy. He has already served in various projects of the government of Balochistan, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), USAID, and other world-famed organizations.
Kakar serving as DG in Khuzdar University
Most recently, Dr. Kakar was serving as the Director-General in the University of Khuzdar. He had also introduced two research from there. Kakar is known for his specialization in the agriculture sector while introducing new techniques and methods to promote the agriculture sector in the country in general and Balochistan in particular.
Notification went viral on social media
The notification with regard to the appointment of Dr. Kakar also went viral on social media with people appreciating his struggle. People on social media networks termed it a victory for the people of Balochistan.
