Two coal miners were trapped inside a coal mine in Balochistan’s Bolan district. Levies sourced told Quetta Voice that two coal miners were working thousands feet deep inside a coal in Mach area of Bolan district. They said the miners were trapped inside when a portion of the mine collapsed. The coal miners with the support of local tribesmen rescued one coal miner after 24 hours in an unconcious condition and was rushed to nearby hospital. “Such tragedies have become order of the day”, Peer Muhammad Kakar, the central leader Balochistan Labour Federation complained. He said the government and the coal mines contractors were least bothered about the  plight of coal miners in Balochistan.

The rescue operation was underway till filing of this report by coal miners, frontier corps and other concerned quarters.
