QUETTA: The Balochistan High Court on Wednesday granted two weeks time to ruling Balochistan Awami Party’s Senator Sarfaraz Bugti to recover the kidnapped girl Maria. Justice Abdullah Baloch of the BHC heard an application with regard to the recovery of minor girl from Balochistan’s Dera Bugti district.

Additional advocate general informed the court during the hearing that the minor girl Maria was yet to be recovered. He however informed the court that efforts were on for recovery of minor girl Maria. Senator Sarfaraz Bugti and the complainant also appeared before the court.

The BHC judge directed the BAP senator Sarfaraz Bugti to recover the minor girl within two weeks. “People pin high hopes on you and in next hearing there should be a progress”, the judge remarked while referring to Senator Bugti.

The additional and district session judge had rejected the bail application of Sarfaraz Bugti on January 17, 2020. The grandmother of the minor girl Maria has accused Sarfaraz Bugti of kidnapping. The charge vehemently denied by Sarfaraz Bugti.

The hearing of the case was adjourned till March 18th.
