In United States, the disease and control and prevention department has confirmed 500 corona virus cases in 20 states. However, the department said the novel corona virus has caused 19 deaths in the country.
The worst outbreaks are in New York state and California, where a cruise ship has been quarantined off the coast for several days. Health officials said the Grand Princess liner will dock in Oakland today, and passengers will be transferred to federal military installations. When asked about increasing cases of corona virus in US, President Donald Trump said “No i am not concerned at all we have done a great job to halt the spread of virus”.
The novel corona virus has affected 108000 people across the globe with most of the cases from mainland China. However, so far 27000 of corona virus have been recorded outside China.
In Italy, the Prime Minister has announced to quarantine over 10 million people to halt the spread of the deadly virus. The premier has also imposed ban on travel to the affected areas of the country.
Iran is also trying to cope with situation as over 5000 cases have been reported from the country. Iran’s 23 of member of parliament have also been tested positive for the virus.
In Pakistan, hitherto seven corona virus cases have been confirmed. Four cases have been reported from Sindh whereas three cases have been confirmed from federal capital. Dr. Zafar Mirza, the adviser to the prime minister on health has urged upon the people to act responsibly to avoid the spread of virus and battle it properly.
