QUETTA: Police on Wednesday arrested an Iranian national illegally residing in the city. A police official who declined to named told Quetta Voice that the accused Iranian national was an illegal immigrant. The accused was illegally living with a man identified as Habibullah. Police also arrested the host of the Iranian national Habibullah, he said.

Police were interrogating the Iranian national with regard to his illegal presence in the city, the official said, giving no other details. Pakistan has shut down its border with Iran since February 23rd in the aftermath of the outbreak of novel coronavirus in the neighboring country.
