In Balochistan, 134 patients of novel coronavirus have recovered up till now. The number of total cases in Balochistan has risen to 233 with the confirmation of 2 new cases, the Spokesman government of Balochistan, Liaquat Shahwani said.

He, however, informed that 85 people had locally contracted the virus and two were tested positive on Monday. He said the health directorate had received 107 tests of suspected patients and two of them were found positive. All the patients have been quarantined at Sheikh Zayed Hospital Quetta for medical treatment, Mr Shahwani said.

The Balochistan government had extended the lockdown till April 21st to contain the deadly virus that has affected almost all parts of the world. On national level in Pakistan, 5478 cases of the virus have been confirmed with most of the cases from Punjab province.

The federal and provincial governments have; put all departments on high alert to contain the virus penetrating in various parts of the country.
