The Balochistan health department confirmed 101 new cases of the novel coronavirus on Sunday as the tally rises to 3,407 across the province. The province has confirmed one more death caused by the deadly virus. The number of deaths reached 40 in the province since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus.

Waseem Baig, the Spokesman Corona Cell Balochistan told the daily Quetta Voice that so far 875 patients have recovered from the pandemic in the province. Most of the patients have recovered at their homes, he added.

The Balochistan health department has conducted over 21,400 tests of the covid19. On Sunday, 414 tests were conducted, and out of them, 101 were declared positive by Fatima Jinnah Chest and General Hosptial laboratory.

The virus continues to spread fast in the province. The virus has spread to 24 districts of Balochistan. However, Quetta, Pishin, Killa Abdullah, and Killa Saifullah have been hit hard by the deadly virus.
