Balochistan jobs: Need for transparency

President Young Doctors Association (YDA) Balochistan, Dr. Yasir Achakzai was tested positive for the novel coronavirus the other day. Dr. Achakzai had performed his duty three days back at the Trauma Emergency Center Civil Hospital Quetta three days back.

“Dr. Achakzai has contracted the virus”, Dr. Rahim Babar, the Spokesman for the YDA said in a statement issued to the press on Monday. The YDA President had played a key role in the provision of personal protective equipment (PPEs) to doctors and paramedics in the province since the outbreak of the pandemic.

Until now, 150 doctors have been tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Balochistan. Over 30 paramedics have also been infected by the virus.
