In Balochistan, 3,670 patients recovered from the novel coronavirus since the outbreak of the pandemic. Most of the patients with mild symptoms recovered from the deadly virus at their homes in isolation. The COVID19 has so far claimed 104 lives so far.

The Corona Cell Balochistan confirmed 112 new cases of the virus on Monday evening. With the confirmation of new cases, the number of cases reached 9,587 in Balochistan. The virus has spread to all 33 districts of Balochistan. However, most of the cases have been reported from Quetta, the provincial capital. “Cases in recent have declined in Quetta”, Liaquat Shahwani, the Spokesman government of Balochistan said.

Mr. Shahwani thus informed that the death ratio in over 60 years of age was high as compared to youngsters. The death ratio of infants children is zero, the Spokesman stated.

Apart from Quetta, most of the cases have been reported from Jaffarabad, Mastung, Chaghi, Pishin and Killa Abdullah. The Balochistan health department has conducted over 43,000 tests so far in the province. The government has also decided to expand and improve the testing capacity to reach out to maximum number of patients.
