In Balochistan, 4,197 patients have recovered from the novel coronavirus so far. The Corona Cell on Monday evening confirmed 71 new cases of the deadly virus as the tally reached 10,426 across the province.

The virus has caused 119 deaths until now in the province. Most of the patients with mild-symptoms battled the virus at homes and got recovered. However, seriously ill patients have been admitted to Fatima Jinnah Chest and General hospital and Sheikh Zayed hospital for medical treatment.

The Balochistan government has so far conducted over 46,000 tests of the novel coronavirus so far in the province. Most of the tests have been conducted in Quetta and the government is planning to reach out to the patients in far-flung areas of the province.

The virus has affected all 33 districts of Balochistan including the provincial capital, Quetta.
