In Balochistan, 6,432 patients have recovered from the novel coronavirus so far as the number of cases reached 10,919 in the province. The Corona Cell has confirmed 78 new cases of the deadly virus on Tuesday.

Most of the patients with mild-symptoms have recovered at their homes in isolation while battling the virus. However, serious patients have been admitted to Fatima Jinnah Chest and General Hospital Quetta for medical treatment.

Balochistan has so far conducted more than 51,000 tests of the novel coronavirus. Most of the tests have been conducted in Quetta, the provincial capital. However, the government intends to expand the capacity to other parts of Balochistan.

Cases of the novel coronavirus have declined recently as everyday cases are less than 100 as compared to more than 300 to 400 daily earlier. The virus has spread to all 33 districts of Balochistan. Moreover, most of the cases have been reported from Quetta, Pishin, Killa Abdullah, Jaffarabad and other parts of the province.
