Pakistan: First transgender press club opens in Muzafargarh

Pakistan’s first transgender press club has been opened in Muzaffargarh city. Around a dozen members of the transgender community gathered and announced the formation of the press club.
“Journalist community is polarized, we are trying to unite all”, a member of the community announced in a video.
The video went viral on social media networks Facebook and Twitter. People hailed the initiative by the transgender community.
The transgender said, “there are so many press clubs in Muzaffargarh, therefore, we have decided to establish a new one”. At the end of the video, the transgenders danced and chanted slogans.
