Levies recover 80kgs hashish and arrest absconders in Khuzdar and Chaman

Levies force recovered 80-kilogram high-quality hashish from a vehicle in Chaman, Pakistan’s bordering city with Afghanistan. During a random checking, Levies stopped a corolla vehicle in the outskirt of the city.

“The driver abandoned the vehicle and levies seized 80-kilogram high-quality of hashish”, Saleem Kakar, the Assistant Commissioner said. Levies are conducting raids to arrest the driver of the vehicle.

Levies intensify operations

Levies force conducted search operations on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Killa Abdullah, Tariq Javed Mengal on Saturday. “Zero tolerance against drug peddlers and the elements involved in illegal activities”, Mr. Mengal said.

Khuzdar levies arrest proclaimed offender 

In Khuzdar: Levies conducted a raid in Zaidi and arrested a proclaimed offender Omar Khan. Levies force conducted a raid on the directives of the Deputy Commissioner, Wali Muhammad Bareech in the area.

The accused was involved in illegal activities and wanted by police in various cases. “Operation against the elements involved in creating law and order problems would also be intensified “, Mr. Bareech said.

The function held at Chaghi

In Chaghi: a function held regarding the promotion of levies personnel and officers at Chaghi Hall Complex. Commissioner Rakhshan Division, Saeed Ahmed Umrani, deputy commissioner Agha Sher Zaman and other high ups participated in the function.

Addressing the levies personnel, the Commissioner acknowledged the sacrifices rendered by the force in maintaining the law and order situation in the province. He said, “brave soldiers of levies force sacrificed their lives for peace in the country”.

Mr. Umrani said the Quick Response Force (QRF) has rendered great sacrifices in the battle against terrorists in the province. The Balochistan government has also decided to impart modern training to levies force to battle terrorism and equip them with the latest weapons.
