Blast rocks Hub: 12 injured

HUB: A blast has rocked HubBalochistan’s industrial city near Karachi on Tuesday evening. Tariq Mastoi, the Senior Superintendent of Police said the blast injured 12 people. Injured rushed to Jam Mir Ghulam Qadir hospital for medical treatment.

The bomb went off during the final match of the tournament 
Mr. Mastoi said the bomb exploded during the final football match of Shuhada e Police. Most of the injured were football spectators gathered in the stadium to watch the match.

“This seems to be an improvised explosive device blast”, he said. He however said a police investigation team formed to probe into the blast. The blast caused panic in the industrial city. The blast heard far and wide.

CM condemns the attack

Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan has strongly condemned the terrorist attack. In a condemnation statement issued after the blast, the CM has directed police to submit a report and arrest the culprits behind the attack. Jam Kamal also directed the district administration to provide better health facilities to all injured of the blast.

Home Minister condemns the attack

Home Minister Balochistan, Mir Ziaullah Langove has strongly condemned the terrorist attack. He said the terrorists involved in the attack would be brought to justice. He expressed grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of an FC soldier. “Terrorists would be brought to justice”, Mr. Langove said.

Balochistan under the grip of violence for the last two decades 

Balochistan has been under the grip of bomb explosions and targeted killings for more than two decades. Terrorist incidents have claimed scores of precious human lives in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan. However, the law and order situation has improved in the aftermath of intelligence-based operations conducted by security forces in various parts of Balochistan.
