Journalist Wahid Raisani martyred in Quetta

Journalist Abdul Wahid Raisani was martyred in a firing incident in Quetta on Saturday night. Police sources said unknown armed men opened fire and seriously injured Abdul Wahid Raisani in Quetta’s Qambrani road area. Initial investigation suggests, the journalist martyred by robbers, police sources said.
The attackers managed to escape unhurt from the spot. Rescue workers and residents of the area shifted the injured journalist to a hospital.
However, the injured journalist succumbed to injuries in the hospital, police said.
Police reached the spot as investigation into the incident went underway.

Shahwani condemns the incident 

Spokesman government of Balochistan, Liaquat Shahwani in a tweet has strongly condemned the incident and vowed to arrest the culprits behind the attack.

Wahid Raisani was working as reporter and sub editor in an Urdu daily Azadi.
Journalist community has expressed serious concern over the incident and demanded the arrest of culprits behind the attack.
