Armed clash in Barkhan: death toll rises to 7

The death toll in Barkhan armed clash reached 7 on Wednesday evening. One of the four injured people succumbed to injuries in the hospital, the Station House Officer (SHO) Police, Jalil Marri told Quetta Voice.

Armed clash had left 6 people dead and 4 injured in Balochistan’s Barkhan district on Wednesday evening. Two rival tribes Jhang and Gajani exchanged fire over a land dispute in Barkhan, Mr. Marri stated.

Injured shifted to Dera Ghazi Khan Punjab for medical treatment 

Initially, the injured of the firing were shifted to district headquarters hospital Barkhan for medical treatment, Mr. Marri informed. Later on, the injured shifted to Dera Ghazi Khan Punjab for medical treatment.  He said the dead bodies also brought to the hospital.

3 real brothers also among the dead

Three real brothers were also among the dead, he informed. Tension prevails in the area after the deadly clash between the warring tribes. The district administration has tightened the security and dispatched more police personnel to avoid another armed clash.
