4 suspected terrorists killed in Ghabarg Quetta
Mir Salam Jogezai:
At least 4 suspected terrorists were killed in the Ghabarg area of Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan. The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) conducted a raid in the outskirts of Quetta and foiled a major terrorist bid.
Two terrorists escaped from the compound while taking benefit of the darkness, the Spokesman CTD said. The dead terrorists belonged to the outlawed Tehrik e Taliban Pakistan (TTP), he mentioned. It was an intelligence-based operation (IBO), he added.
Terrorists were planning a major terror bid
The terrorists were planning a major terrorist bid in Quetta when CTD conducted the raid and foiled the plan, the Spokesman stated. Security forces also recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition from the possession of the terrorists.
This operation has come after rising violence in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan. A blast had killed seven people the other day in Chaman, Pakistan’s bordering city with Afghanistan.
