BBISE Scandal: Responsible officers not to be spared: Minister

Education Desk :

QUETTA: Balochistan Education Minister, Mir Naseebullah Marri has assured that responsible officers/officials involved in irregularities in the Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE) would not be spared.

In a letter addressed the Secretary Higher Education Balochistan, Mr. Marri has directed the Secretary to ensure a fair and transparent investigation into the flaws and irregularities in granting numbers to students.

The Minister’s notice has come a few days after this daily reported a massive fraud in the BBISE in terms of granting numbers to blue-eyed students in the province.

“We would not spare the elements behind this scandal”, Naseebullah Marri stated. He said parents and students were complaining about the conduct of the BBISE and that the government was serious in addressing their concerns. “This issue is a mark on the performance of the board”, he mentioned in the letter addressed to the Secretary.
