Staff Reporter :

Chief of National Party (NP), Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch has demanded of the government to make all details about the Reko Diq project public. Addressing a press conference, the former Chief Minister demanded that rulers should bring all the details in front of the masses of Balochistan.

Haji Nisar Ahmed, a Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) leader, and others also joined the NP on the occasion. “Reko Diq belongs to the people of Balochistan and indigenous people should be benefited from this”, Dr. Baloch told reporters. “I was also invited to witness the in-camera briefing of Balochistan Assembly”, he revealed. “I am neither an MPA nor MNA, therefore I decided not to participate in the in-camera briefing”, Dr. Baloch mentioned.

The victory of the party’s members on various seats was converted into defeat

The NP Chief asserted that the victory of the party’s members on various seats was converted into defeat under a pre-planned conspiracy. He said the NP was part of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), which has been striving for the establishment of true democracy in the country.

As a CM Balochistan, I did not make any compromise over the rights of the people of Balochistan, he said. We didn’t compromise over Reko Diq, Gwadar Project, etc, he added. Haji Nisar on the occasion said that the policies of the ruling party had disappointed masses of the country. This is one of the underlying reasons that I have decided to quit the party”, Mr. Nisar added.
