Future of students to be protected, PMC issue to be resolved: CM Balochistan

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo has assured that the future of the students would be protected at all costs. Speaking to the protesting students of three medical colleges of Balochistan, the CM said that the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) would be approached to solve the issue of students.
CM’s comments have come a few days after the PMC withdrew concession for the regularization of the students studying in the three medical colleges prior to their recognition. The PMC decision has put the career of students at peril after the withdrawal of the concession.
Balochistan government to take up the issue of students with PMC
“We would not allow anyone to ruin the future of the students”, he added. He assured that the provincial government would take up the issue of the students with the PMC.
The PMC had earlier recognized three medical colleges including Jhalwan Medical College, Loralai Medical College, and Turbat Medical College. The PMC had however asked the students studying in the three colleges to appear in an examination for regularization. However, the students had refused to do so and launched a protest campaign against the government.
