A powerful blast has rocked Noshki city of Balochistan on Wednesday night. Police sources said the blast rocked Sabzi Mandi area of the city. The area houses important official buildings.
Policemen reached the spot of the blast. A video shared on social media shows the blast has smashed glasses of nearby homes and shops in the area. “We were having dinner when our glasses were smashed after a blast”, a man in a video shared on social media said.
Sound of blasts and firing heard in Noshki
Eyewitnesses say the sound of blasts and firing was also heard in the area. Police and other law enforcers reached the spot to bring the situation under control. The blast also smashed the glasses of civil hospital Noshki and district health officer and other offices, locals said. They preferred not to be named.
ISPR
Terrorists attempted to attack security forces camps at two locations, Panjgur and Naushki, in Balochistan late evening today, the military’s media wing said. Both attacks have been successfully repulsed while inflicting heavy casualties to terrorists.
In Panjgur, Terrorists tried to enter a security forces camp from 2 locations. However, timely response by troops foiled the terrorist attempts, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
During intense exchange of fire one soldier has been martyred. Terrorists have fled while their casualties are being ascertained. In Naushki, Terrorists attempted to enter FC camp which was promptly responded by the forces. Four Terrorists have been killed.

Panjgoor:
In Balochistan’s Panjgoor city, the blast was also heard on Wednesday night. However, there was no report of casualties as a result of the blast. The news of the blast in the city was widely shared on social media networks. Although, there was no word from the concerned official quarters.
These explosions have come days after ten soldiers were martyred in a blast in Balochistan’s Kech district.
