Husband killed his wife and nephew in Balochistan’s Dera Allah Yar in the name of ‘honor’ on Friday. The incident happened in Goth Faqeer Muhammad Kanrani. Police were quick to arrest the accused involved in the murder of his wife and his nephew, a police source said.
Police also recovered the weapons used in the murder of the two persons. Station House Officer (SHO) Dera Allah Yar, Abdul Rauf Jamali, and other personnel conducted a raid and arrested the culprit involved in the murder.
Police shifted the accused to the police station for interrogation. The dead bodies of the victims were shifted to district headquarters hospital Dera Allah Yar. The hospital administration handed over the dead bodies to the victims’ families after the completion of necessary official procedures.
Killing in the name of ‘honor’ has claimed scores of precious human lives. Human rights groups have expressed serious concern over increasing incidents of ‘honor’ killings in the Naseerabad division.
