Monitoring Desk:

The central leader of the Pakistan Muslim League (N), Ahsan Iqbal has said that deputy speaker national assembly, Qasim Suri was enjoying his position on a stay order. Supreme Court of Pakistan had granted a stay order to the deputy speaker of the NA after a judgment against him by the Balochistan High Court (BHC).

“200 percent agree”, Ahsan Iqbal responded to a tweet of the federal information and broadcasting minister, Fawad Chaudhary. The Minister had termed stay orders as a major speed breaker for what he called in the way of administrative work.

Ahsan Iqbal asserted that the deputy speaker has established an international record of bulldozing legislation. There was no immediate response from the deputy speaker in this regard.
