Rozi Khan Kakar, the Balochistan Secretary General of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) walked out of a press conference after Lt General (R) Qadir Baloch dominated the stage. The PPP leaders were addressing a press conference about the forthcoming long march to Islamabad at Quetta Press Club on Saturday evening.

The SG came and could not find a place on the stage as General (R) Qadir Baloch, Sardar Umar Gorgeg, and other leaders were already there. Mr. Kakar waited for some time. However, he failed to get any space on the stage. The walk-out was followed by slogans by supporters of the two groups within the PPP.

As a result of this, Rozi Khan Kakar, Sardar Sarbuland Jogezai, and other office-bearers of the PPP walked out of the press conference. When asked about the walkout, Mr. Baloch clarified that this was a small issue and it would be settled. “Current provincial cabinet only nominated rather it was not elected”, Mr. Baloch told reporters.

He said a large number of workers from the Pakistan Muslim League (N) have joined the PPP, but they could not get any position in the party so far.

Lt General (R) Qadir Baloch and former Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri had joined the PPP after they parted ways with PML (N) over political differences.
