Sardar Rind resigns as Special Assistant to PM Imran Khan

Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind, a member of provincial assembly from Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) has resigned as the Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday. “I have sent my resignation to Prime Minister, Imran Khan”, Sardar Rind told a private TV channel in Islamabad on Wednesday. “I sent the resignation two days back”, he mentioned.

The PTI leader lamented that the high command of the party has failed to take him on board with regard to major decisions regarding Balochistan. “PTI government is not ready to listen to our grievances”, Sardar Rind said.

Yar Muhammad Rind is still the parliamentary leader of the ruling PTI in Balochistan. The Premier had appointed Sardar Rind as Special Assistant on water resources, power, and petroleum.

PTI is the third-largest parliamentary political group in the Balochistan Assembly. The party is also part of the coalition government led by the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) in the province.
