Quetta police claimed to have arrested two key accused involved in the murder of 5 people in Nawan Killi on Saturday evening. Five people including three women were killed in a firing incident in Quetta’s Nawan Killi. “We have arrested two culprits”, Syed Fida Hassan Shah, the Deputy Inspector General of Police Quetta said.

Personnel of Zarghoonabad police station conducted a raid and arrested the main culprits identified as Wali Khan and Sultan. Police shifted the accused to the police station for investigation. “We are investigating the incident”, Mr. Shah stated. He said senior police officials were investigating the tragic incident.

Domestic issue claims lives of 5 people

Police termed a domestic issue as the underlying reason behind the murder of three women, a man, and a 15-year old boy. The victims were buried in the presence of a large number of people in the Kotwal graveyard of Nawan Killi. “We want justice”, Musa Khan Khilji, a tribal elder said after the burial of the victims.

He demanded the arrest of the culprits involved in the cold-blooded murders of five people. However, the DIG Police informed that two of the four key accused were arrested by Quetta police. All the victims belonged to one family. “Two accused are still at large”, the DIG Police mentioned.
