Quddus Bizenjo appointed as parliamentary leader BAP

Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo has been appointed as the parliamentary leader of the ruling Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) in the provincial assembly. According to a notification issued by the assembly secretariat on Tuesday, Mr. Bizenjo has been appointed as the parliamentary leader after 14 lawmakers from the ruling party endorsed his name.

Mr. Bizenjo has replaced former senior minister, Mir Zahoor Buledi as the parliamentary leader in Balochistan Assembly. The number of BAP MPAs in the Balochistan Assembly is 24.

A letter received by this daily shows 14 lawmakers including Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran, Sardar Saleh Bhootani, Muhammad Khan Lehri, Mir Sikandar Umrani, Bushra Rind, Mah Jabeen Sheran and others had endorsed the name of Mr. Bizenjo as the parliamentary leader of the party.

There was no immediate word from Jam Kamal Khan or Mr. Zahoor Buledi in this regard.
