Miscreants have blown up a 220 kv transmission line through an improvised explosive device in Balochistan’s Naseerabad district on Monday. Police sources said miscreants had planted an IED near the 220 KV transmission line in the Notal area of Naseerabad.

The blast damaged the line. Police reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went underway. The technical team of WAPDA was also dispatched to make sure timely repair of the line.

Miscreants in the past have repeatedly targeted power lines and gas supply lines.
