No confidence motion submitted against CM Balochistan Quddus Bizenjo
Former Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan, Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind submitting a no confidence motion against CM Mir Quddus Bizenjo

QUETTA: No-confidence motion was submitted against Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo on Wednesday. Former Chief Minister, Jam Kamal Khan, parliamentary leaders of Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI), Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind, Asghar Khan Achakzai, the parliamentary leader Awami National Party (ANP), Saleem Khan Khosa and others were present on the occasion.

“We are fed up with this Chief Minister”, Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind, the parliamentary leader of PTI in Balochistan told reporters. Over a dozen of lawmakers from the ruling BAP, PTI, and ANP had signed the no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Mir Quddus Bizenjo.

Lawmakers lash out at CM Bizenjo

They lashed out at the CM of Balochistan for what they called his anti-masses policies in the province. The movers of the no-trust motion asserted that the CM and his team have ruined the governance and stopped work on ongoing development projects.

“We do not want to be part of this destruction, therefore, we brought this no-confidence motion”, Jam Kamal Khan said. He said the CM had no capacity to address the issues faced by the people of Balochistan.

The incumbent CM, Mir Quddus Bizenjo had played a key role in the removal of Jam Kamal Khan as the CM last year in October through a vote of no confidence. CM Bizenjo was the speaker of the Balochistan Assembly at that time.

“We don’t want to disrupt the system, but, this government is destruction”, Asghar Khan Achakzai, the parliamentary leader of ANP said. Mr. Achakzai strongly criticized the CM and his cabinet ministers for what he called ignoring the pressing issues, the people of Balochistan have been facing. “They have no time to visit Pir Koh and Dera Bugti“, the ANP leader said.

There was no lawmaker from the mainstream opposition parties including the Jamiat ul Ulema e Islam (JUI) and Balochistan National Party (Mengal) during the submission of the no-confidence motion against CM Balochistan.
