Women role crucial for socio-economic development of Balochistan: Major General Inayat

GWADAR: General Officer Commanding (GOC) 44 Division, Major General Inayat Hussain has termed the role of women crucial for the development of Balochistan. The GOC visited the Women Degree College Gwadar along with the Deputy Commissioner Captain (R) Jamil Ahmed on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Major General Inayat Hussain stated that women’s education was important since they play an important role in the prosperity of the country and nation.

He emphasized the importance of education and appreciated the efforts of the college administration and teachers for the education of women in the area. He especially praised the courage and strength of the women of Balochistan who have dispelled the impression that the solution to the problems of the society is not possible at the local level.

Major General Ayat Hussain urged the women of the province to encourage the new generation to come out of the cage of feeling deprived and fly in the open air with the spirit of positive competition.

In present-day Balochistan, women are coming forward from all walks of life and showcasing their talents. He termed other important projects including CPEC as hopeful to alleviate the sense of deprivation in Balochistan.
The GOC distributed laptops among the students who excelled in the examinations and stressed the need for the students to dedicate all their abilities to pursue education in the future.
