Members of the Balochistan Assembly on Saturday paid rich tribute to Shaheed Lieutenant General Sarfaraz Ali. The condolence resolution was presented by Advisor on Home and Tribal Affairs Balochistan, Ziaullah Langove. The resolution stated that whenever there is a calamity in the motherland, the soldiers of the Pakistan Army always reach the spot and assist people in need.
The house also offered fateha for departed souls.
The Balochistan Assembly paid rich tribute to Commander 12 Corps Lt. General Sarfaraz Ali and other martyrs who lost their lives in a helicopter crash. “Lt. General Sarfaraz Ali played a historic role for the motherland”, said Zia Langove.
Members from treasury and opposition benches spoke at length about the services rendered by Shaheed Lt. General and other military officers for the country and nation. They stated that all martyrs lost their lives while supporting the flood-hit people in district Lasbela.

The session of the Balochistan Assembly began with deputy speaker Sardar Babar Musakhail in the chair. The house discussed issues relating to the country and province.
The chair put the condolence resolution for voting before the house. The house unanimously adopted the condolence resolution in recognition of the bravery and services of the fallen heroes of the nation.
Shaheed Lt. General Sarfaraz Ali and other military officers were in the flood-hit district of Lasbela when their helicopter crashed because of bad weather in the area. Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa and other high-level military officers arrived in Quetta to participate in the funeral prayer of fallen heroes of the nation
