QUETTA: Balochistan government on Sunday extended the closure of schools across the province till September 3 in view of the flood situation. All public and private schools would remain closed till September 3rd, a notification issued by the Secretary of Secondary Education Balochistan said.

Earlier, the Balochistan government announced the closure of the schools till August 29th. The Secretary of Higher Educaiton Balochistan has also extended the closure of colleges and universities for the next five days i.e. September 3rd throughout Balochistan.

The education department issued these notifications on the directives of Chief Minister Mir Quddus Bizenjo.
