One week ago both the health departments of Sindh and Balochistan sent letters to PMC for delaying the MDCAT 2022 exam due to the havoc wrecked by floods in Pakistan. After that, the Federal Government also requested PMC to postpone and reschedule both MDCAT and NLE exams. These letters were written for the sake of aspirants’ and medical students’ safety during floods as almost all the road and rail networks of Balochistan are suspended.
MDCAT delay, nothing new for aspirants:
Delay or rescheduling of medical entrance tests is nothing new for aspirants as it is a repeated process for many years. Right now it’s said that MDCAT will be delayed for a maximum of one or two weeks with the floods situation getting normal in the country.
Roll Numbers Removed from PMC Website:
On Firday, 26th Aug, morning the Pakistan Medical Commission issued roll number slips to students for medical entrance tests, and a while ago some students complained about the removal of already uploaded roll number slips on the PMC website.
PMC to Reschedule test dates soon:
The Pakistan Medical Commission will be rescheduling the test dates of MDCAT 2022 soon within one or two weeks. The rescheduling will be done after road and other communication networks reestablish soon in all parts of the country, Balochistan especially.
Aspirants are advised to follow their study schedule as per past flow and not let postponement break their rhythms.
