Deputy Commissioner Naseerabad, Ayesha Zehri handed over a cheque of Rs.2 lakh to famous singer Wahab Bugti on Wednesday. Bugti has been displaced by floods. Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo announced the compensation amount for the famous singer a few days back.
The DC Naseerabad took to social media network Twitter and announced the handing over of the cheque to the famous singer. The video of the famous singer who was part of the CokeStudio famous song “kanayari” went viral on social media last month.
Scores of people tweeted the video of the famous singer and posted it on Facebook. This prompted the Chief Minister of Balochistan to announce the compensation for the famous singer.
Bugti posted his photo along with his kids outside his destroyed house in Dera Murad Jamali Balochistan. People asked the government to rehabilitate the famous singer.
