Family members of the two alleged ‘drug traffickers’ killed in the Bhosa Mandi area of Quetta during a police encounter demanded a judicial probe into the incident. “My brothers were innocent”, Haji Muhammad, the brother of the two alleged drug traffickers claimed. He demanded of the provincial government to launch a judicial probe into the incident.

Despite repeated attempts, the Daily Quetta Voice was not able to speak to police officials. Although, police sources termed the two young men as drug traffickers on Saturday. The charge vehemently denied by the family members of the dead.

Police on Saturday morning claimed to have killed two drug traffickers during an exchange of fire in the Eastern outskirt of Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan province. The alleged accused Fida Muhammad and Habibullah were killed in what police claim during an exchange of fire.

“Police also opened fire on me and I received bullet injuries in my legs”, Haji Muhammad, the brother of the two alleged drug traffickers said. “I was in the Bolan medical complex hospital and police released me on condition of ending a protest”, Haji Muhammad narrated.
