Armed men opened fire and killed four people in Balochistan’s Kharan district on Friday morning. Police sources said armed men stormed inside the house of Sheikh Saleem and killed four people inside the house. One person was injured in the attack.
The dead bodies and injured were rushed to the district headquarters hospital Kharan. Two victims were identified as Sheikh Saleem Ahmed and Saiful Islam. The two victims are yet to be identified. The attackers escaped unhurt from the spot. Police and senior administration officials reached the spot and started an investigation into the incident.
The motive behind the incident is yet to be ascertained, police said. “We are investigating the matter and it is premature to say something about this incident”, a police official told Daily Quetta Voice via telephone. He requested anonymity since he was not authorized to speak to the media.
