QUETTA: Tents donated by United Nations Higher Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) were used during a public gathering of Jamiat ul Ulema e Islam (F) Balochistan during public meeting. Video of the tents being used at the public meeting went viral on social media. However, there was no formal response on behalf of the religious party.

Daily Quetta Voice made repeated attempts to get the reaction of the religious party. But, there was no response. Some JUI leaders blamed the administration for using the UNHCR-donated tents. However, a senior administration official said the ground was completely under the control of the religious party. He requested anonymity since he was not authorized to speak to the media.
JUI Chief Maulana Fazal ur Rehman and other high command were on the stage. The Maulana has arrived in this provincial capital the other day and addressed party workers at various programs.
