Multiple blasts rocked Quetta and other parts of Balochistan on Sunday. At least two people were killed and 20 were injured in blasts that rocked Khuzdar, Quetta, Turbat, Kalat, and other parts of the province.
At least five people were injured when miscreants attacked a police mobile in Quetta’s Satellite Town area on Sunday evening. Police said three policemen were also among the injured. The injured were rushed to the civil hospital Quetta for medical treatment. An emergency was declared in the hospital to provide medical treatment to the injured of the attack.
Police said miscreants lobbed the hand grenade at the police mobile in the Chalo Bawri area of Quetta. The attackers sped away on their motorcycle after the attack. Police reached the spot and started an investigation into the incident.
Ilyas Kamboh adds from HUB:
A bomb explosion outside the Saddar police station Hub left three people injured. The blast was heard far and wide causing panic in the area. The injured were rushed to the nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Jabbar Baloch adds from Khuzdar:
A bomb went off outside a police station in Khuzdar. The target of the blast was a police mobile, police sources said. The mobile was damaged in the attack. However, there was no human loss.
Abdullah Lehri adds from Kalat:
Miscreants lobbed a hand grenade at a truck carrying marble stones in the Kalat district of Balochistan. There was no human loss as a reuslt of the blast. The attackers fled away from the spot after the attack. Security was tightened in and around the district after the attack.
Chief Secretary Balochistan Abdul Aziz Uqaili took to the Social Media network twitter and said that multiple blasts rocked Balochistan and he said that security has been put on high alert to maintain law and order situation. He directed the concerned authorities to beef up security to maintain law and order situation in the province.
