At least two coal miners died when the rope of a trolley broke inside a coal mine in Balochistan’s Dukki district on Friday evening. The rope of the trolley broke and it hit the two coal miners working inside the coal mine, Levies sources said. They said both the miners were dead on the spot. Rescue workers and fellow miners reached the spot and retrieved the dead bodies.

The deceased miners have been identified as Akhtar Muhammad son of Shah Nawaz tribe of Alizai tribe of Afghanistan and Khawaj Muhammad son of Faiz Muhammad, a resident of the Qila Saifullah district. The dead bodies were shifted to the hospital and handed over to the heirs after the completion of necessary official procedures.
